many thanks for posting the pics. i visited this chapel in 1977 after completing a course in early christian history - and because i am planning a tripback to france i thought i might have a reunion. i remember a full size jesus on cross hanging on the wall and some carvings of a saint and animals standing in a group. Are they still there? Do you still have to ask for the key at the local post office or is it opened up during day? They say Charlemagne prayed there during one of his expeditions - may be myth. anyway, thanks again for jogging my memory and hope you had a great trip. steve from australia.
